LASIK (laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis) is a type of refractive surgery for correcting myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. LASIK is performed by ophthalmologists using a laser.
Both Dr. Wilsons can give you a very informative discussion of current LASIK procedures and evaluate your corneal status. If you qualify and are a good candidate, you will be refered to a LASIK surgeon. The doctors at Wilson Eye Care Center will also follow you post operatively through your healing process.
