The goal of Wilson Eye Care Center is to provide preventative high quality eye care to our patients and their families. We will strive to educate them along the way so as to give a lifetime of knowledge about their vision and ocular health.

We feel strongly at our practice to achieve our mission statement. Our goal is to go above and beyond to educate our patients about their visual health. Knowledge is power.
Spending real time with our patients, talking and explaining about the visual system, the eye anatomy, and all the options concerning glasses, contacts, refractive surgery, cataract surgery and any complications with ocular health is key. This will help them make critical decisions concerning their eye health for themselves and their families.
Our Practice
Wilson Eye Care Center has been in business since December 2003. This is a private professional Optometry practice. Dr. James P. Wilson and his wife, Dr. Robin C. Wilson, have 50 years of combined experience working in the fields of Optometry and Ophthalmology.
The doctors at Wilson Eye Care Center are DPA / TPA / Oral Meds certified in the field of optometry for the treatment of ocular disease. They have developed many close relationships with ophthalmologist and retinal surgeons in the Peoria, Illinois, area and also consult with University of Iowa Hospitals and Corneal Clinics.
In conjunction with treating eye diseases both Dr. Wilsons fit difficult contact lens patients ranging from astigmatism, bifocal, CRT, Post LASIK, Post RK, corneal transplant PKP, Keratoconus, color deficiency and many other contact related problems.
The staff at Wilson Eye Care Center have been in the field for over 20 years each and are highly trained in many areas of eye care.
We feel it is very important to have the latest in equipment including Fundus photography, Visual Field measurements, corneal topography and corneal thickness measuring.
The office is very open and spacious with a contemporary setting of a tropical Caribbean theme. Visit our optical tour. Parking is plentiful and the office has easy access on and off Pioneer Parkway.
